Moroccan Gift Box
Today I made an Octagonal Gift box using First Edition Moroccan Spice papers, and Santoro Willow Papers.
I had bought a box of dark chocolate truffles from a Supermarket just before Christmas and I was thinking of upcycling the box, but then I had a better idea - if I undid the box carefully, I could use it as a template! So that's what I did!
For this box I used:-
- 8"x8" Plain dark chocolate Card (250gsm)
- 8"x8" First Edition Moroccan Spice Paper Pad (FEPAD117)
- 12"x12" Santoro Willow Paper Pad (SNPAD008)
- Dovecraft Christmas Ribbon (2014. code DCXCR007)
- First Edition Border Dies (FEDIE002)
- 5mm Dark Green Gems
- Thorntons Moments (optional!!!)

Moroccan Spice Double Display Card
So today, I made a double display card using the new First Edition Moroccan Spice papers:-
As you can see, these papers are so sumptious and rich in colour!
I made this card by taking a piece of 12"x6" green card and marking along the top at 1", 2", 4", 5", 7", 8", 10", 11". Here's the template to explain it a bit better:-
Then you cut along the dotted lines - between 1" and 5" mark and between 7" and 11" mark as shown above. Then mountain and valley fold the scorelines (shown in the template as solid lines),
Then you just need to add a 3"x6" piece of card onto the two front sections of your card - where the front greeting will go. Next, matt and layer your pattern paper on each panel.
For this card I used:-
Plain green card
First Edition Moroccan Spice 8x8" Paper (FEPAD117)
Trimcraft Twelve Days of Christmas Enamel Dots (DCXGE16)
Santoro Mirabelle 2 Frame Die (SNDIE001)
Trimcraft Sweet Paris Sentiment Stamps (DCCS045)
Dovecraft Black Pigment Ink
