Double Pleated Card

I've seen a lot of pleated cards, so I thought I'd have a go at one! Decided to jump in at the deep end and start with a double pleated card!!!!

I used the gorgeous First Edition Pretty Posy papers and also the fab First Edition Pick'n'Mix papers! The sentiment was a Dovecraft Floral Muse sentiment stamp, and the gems were from Trimcraft's Simply Creative range. the ribbon was from Trimcraft's Belle & Boo 2 range.
Here are the instructions:-

  6. I'm confused. Some of your measurements for this card are in 'inches' and some are in 'metric'. Could you post all measurements in inches? Thanks. Also, it says to score at 1 & 1/2" increments. Looking at the card, it appears that you scored at 1" and the next one at 1/2" and then repeat to the end of strip, is that correct?
    I love all your creations!

    1. Hello! Yes that's correct - you score every 1" and then 1/2", then 1", then 1/2" etc all the way along.
I used metric and imperial as it was easier - because 11.4cms is 4.488189 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Hi. I am also having a problem with the combination of inches and centimeters. Dont seem to get the same amount of folds as you do, and the shorth edge markings of 2" and 3" do not appear evenly spaced. Your help would be appreciated. Love the card

    1. Hello! Glad you like the card. Sorry you're having problems. It's difficult to explain it in great detail without you actually seeing it being made in person. I have found a tutorial online that may help - https://youtu.be/EP4diaswToM?list=PLg7vmN7XojMUlfaSfcxM93Bbcl2cKTWEI
